Here are the convertible top lift cylinders (also called rams), all of our top lift cylinders are completely new and are made as exact replacements for your car. We do not sell 'universal' or rebuilt rams, all of our cylinders are backed with a 3 year warranty when not used with brake fluid. This cylinder fits the right (passengers) side of the 1940 Ford and Mercury convertible cars, these cars originally had a vacuum system but these cylinders are for conversion to a modern hydraulic system. Also fits 1957-61 Ford Fairlane and Galaxie, 1958-61 Lincoln Continental and 1957-61 Mercury Monterey, Montclair, Turnpike Cruiser and Parklane convertible cars, they are sold individually and are different for the right or left side of the car.
