Here is a new front header bow for the 1971-76 GM full size scissor top convertible cars. The header bow is the one that sits on top of the windshield frame when the top is closed, it is where the latches are attached to. On most 1971-76 scissor top cars the header bow is rusted away, twisted or bent, now you have the opportunity to buy a new one. The convertible top attaches to the underside of the header bow, if your header bow is rusty the tacking strip may not hold the new top properly and may result in a loose or poor fitting top.
