1971-1976 full size GM cars use a gearbox (AKA actuators) on each side of the car to make the top go up and down. The actuators are located on each side of the car, there is a drive cable that attaches to them and they are connected to the convertible top frame.

We recondition our actuators using only the best parts available, this actuator only fits the left (drivers) side of the 1971 GM full size cars like the 1971 Buick LeSabre and Centurion, the 1971 Cadillac Eldorado, the 1971 Chevrolet Impala and Caprice, the 1971 Oldsmobile 88, Delta 88 and Delta 88 Royale as well as the 1971 Pontiac Catalina, Grandville and Grandville Brougham.

We require a $50.00 core charge on this unit which will be returned when we receive your old core. The price shown includes a $50.00 core charge which will be refunded when you send your old actuator back to us, your actual cost will be $185.00 after you return your core.
